Charities we support
Children's Hospice South West (registered charity number 1003314) provide hospice care for children with life-limiting conditions and their whole family across the South West. The care they offer is wide ranging; respite and short breaks, emergency care, palliative care and end of life care. Children's Hospice South West operate three hospices; Little Bridge House in Devon, Charlton Farm in Somerset and Little Harbour in Cornwall.
Baby Basics South Somerset (registered charity number 1168099) provide starter packs to vulnerable families in our community. The project works on a referral basis and so they work closely with local health and social care professionals to provide the basic necessities that are needed for life with a new baby. Most of the items they give away have been donated by members of the community, however funds are still required to buy replacement mattresses for moses baskets, as well as supplies that they are short on.
Charity Minded Mums recognises the invaluable work of many local charities and how what they do directly impacts the Somerset community. All of our fundraisers and events are designed purely to raise additional funds to give these charity groups a small boost in resources - it's our way of saying "Thank you!" on behalf of our community.
100% of the funds raised at each event is given directly to the chosen charity/s.
